This 3000 Ltr (650 gallons) below ground flat water tank is ideal for those situations where a classic round tank is not possible (in high water tables, difficult ground conditions, or even if you just cannot get a round tank into the garden!) The Flat Tank, by its design, also greatly reduces the volume of excavated earth.

No concrete needed, only gravel is required - this reduces the time and cost of installation considerable.

Suitable for high water table - the flat tank can be installed into much higher water tables than a standard round tank. If you do not know what your water table will be like in the winter, you’re safer to install a flat tank.

Shallow tank for safe, easy maintenance.

Reduction in excavated earth - a standard round tank will, required 58m³ to be excavated from the ground. The 5000L flat tank only requires 9.6m³ of excavated earth!

Child proof locks - safer alternative to just using screws, which will wear out over time and leave the tank being a safety hazard in the ground. 2 professional child locks provided with all walk on covers. The special fastener (rotary mechanism from stainless steel) with two specially strong safety loops can be installed easily and quickly.

Anti frost lids - the cover is walkable up to 150 kg and dual skinned for improved frost protection.

The new shaft system shows a clearly improved fitting accuracy. The tank cover sits neatly and is twist protected on the shaft frame to prevent dirt entering. Drain gutters avoid the entering of surface water into the tank.

Our high quality pump is automatic so there is no need to switch it on and off. The comfort package is ideal for the DIY expert or installer, the pump has an adaptable fitting which allows you to connect many different pipe sizes. The pump is strong enough to allow you to have a few different taps in your garden.

Automatic control:
The pump switches on automatically when water withdrawal is open (pressure drop) and switches off when closing the withdrawal place (if there is no more flow).
After the protection against dry running has been activated the pump starts again automatically:
4 trials with 30 sec. pause, then 1 hour pause after 1 hour pause again 4 trials then 5 hours pause then always 24 hours pause

The pump has following safety devices:

Pump switches off after 1 hour. If a failure at the non return valve is noted, the pump changes into fault mode (more security against failures in the system)

When the water flow is too low for 40 sec. the pumpchanges into fault mode and re-starts after 1 hour (Protection against damages in leaky cables)

Note:
The pump has to be installed hanging approximately 20 cm above the bottom of the tank to avoid sucking the water from below.
Also the pump could get damaged by sucking sediment.
Further is to be followed:
That the pipe between pump and withdrawal has to be 100% water tight.
Leakages can lead to damages in the pump when the pump activates because of a pressure drop in the pipes and starts over and over again.
